This truly self-made artist Kwesi Drippie found himself on the world stage when his debut single ‘Bra’ went viral after it’s release on Youtube in the early month of 2020. After deciding to record other singles on his own newly formed independent label records, Kwesi Drippie found a sound of his own, mixing high-life and afro beats with electronic elements. He recorded his first debut singles “Faky3 Me” in 2020.

Following the initial success of his debut single “Bra” and the release of his second single debut “Fakye Me”, This down-to-earth artist has toured internally in Ghana and has seen themselves nominated for a slew of awards.

At times equipped for performances with nothing more than his soulful voice, Kwesi Drippie has a simple, humble sound with mellow beats that sound like Akwaboah and is the definition of easy listening. He is a songwriter, composer and a singer.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

Popularly known as Kwesi Drippie but officially known as Clement Akuoko Larbi. Kwesi Drippie hails from Assin Assibirem in the Central Region of Ghana. Born to Mr. Samuel Akuoko Larbi. He had his basic school at Faith Christain Academy School. He later finally furthered to Abuakwa State College.

MUSIC CAREER

He discovered his talent to sing at age twelve. The dad helped him nurtured the talent. He grew and glow his talent following the footsteps of Akwaboah. His song is doing well on all online streaming stores. He won the best male vocalist from Ghana Teenstyle Awards 2020 and was also nominated as Afro-pop artist of the year from Ghana Young Entertainers Awards 2020.
