JAY NICEWORLDWIDE
Jerron Nii Amu Botchway popularly known as Jay NiceWorldwide is a noteworthy songwriter and Hip-hop artist from Accra Ghana. Neo hip-hop artist Jay NiceWorldwide creates heartfelt, beautiful, simply-woven songs in the vein of Jay Z and many more Hip-Hop geeks.
He composes his rap and singing in his native Ga, English, and Pidgin language. He released a fourteen-track album titled “Breakthrough” in 2014 and also recently released an EP in 2020 titled “Patience” which gained him recognition and credibility.
He has a band named Afro Groove Band and the band has played all over the sixteen Regions in Ghana. His music can be found on all online digital streaming sites and stores.
EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
He was born on Tuesday 26 March 1985 at the Korle-Bu teaching hospital, Accra Ghana. He is a Ga-Adangbe who hails from the tribe Ga Otubohum. He was born to Rev. Joseph Botchway and Madam Mrs Linda Aidoo. He had his basic school Martyrs of Uganda, Mamprobi-Accra, and later furthered to St, Augustine’s College in Cape Coast. After completion, he further to the University of Ghana, studying Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts.
MUSIC CAREER
Jay NiceWorldwide first found his passion in music in junior high school where he was the entertainment prefect for his year group. Jay NiceWorldwide started writing songs as his passion to do music grew deeper, so after upon completing school he worked with a few reputable financial institutions, and later started working as road manager for the winner of the 2011 Ghana music awards best rapper of the year being Trigmatic, this rekindled his musical dreams and decided to embark on his music career.
He then released two singles in January 2012 and later released a fourteen-track album titled “Breakthrough” in 2014 and also recently released an EP in 2020 titled “Patience” which gained him recognition and credibility.
Jay NiceWorldwide is a live band performer and has his own live band group called Afro Groove Band. Jay Nice conveys motivation and inspiration to his fans through his songs and he is also a versatile artist.
