MUSIC CAREER

Salome has advanced her inner calling as a Deaconess over the years by incorporating her God-given gift of singing into her Ministry in the hopes of championing and winning souls for Christ. Salome has made this possible by releasing different sweet melodic gospel tracks in 2016, 2019, and 2022, with an album of eight songs and two singles, a single, and still counting. M’aseda Nie (Here is my thanks), one of her powerful songs, has already been released on all music streaming platforms to rave reviews from her fans.

Salome Nketia’s Ebeba Mu, which appeared on her first album, was nominated for two National Gospel Music Awards in 2017: Gospel Discovery of the Year and Gospel New Artist of the Year.

During one personal interview, the highly gifted musical artist and Deaconess joyfully mentioned that her parents loved God and served Him well, which translated into their high consumption and preference for gospel music over all other genres – this watered down to her and helped to shape her life and religious upbringing. “My mother had the gift of composing and singing songs, but she never had the opportunity to record any of them in a music studio.” I grew up realizing that I was also gifted in singing and song writing, which I believe I inherited from my mother by the grace of God Almighty.”

Salome Nketia continued, “Most of her friends knew she had a passion and great interest in singing because she joined various singing groups throughout her school years.” “I write my songs when I am inspired by the Holy Spirit or in my dreams.” Salome Nketia confirms, “I have an album of eight songs and two singles to the glory of God.”
Moving on, the highly anointed Deaconess stated, “Production has so far been done by my husband and I have been able to film and release five official music videos all directed by McWillies of Flashbak Media in 2016, 2019, and 2022.”

The first song she promoted on her first album, ‘W’adwene No,’ which translates to “Your Mind,” sought to draw people’s attention to the need to set priorities right by putting God first in all their doings and getting aligned to His ways, first before seeking anything else – thus a reference to the scriptures which state “…seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you” – Matthew 6:33.

Her most recent song, ‘M’aseda Nie,’ which translates as “Here is my thanks,” aims to focus listeners’ attention on the importance of developing a grateful and thankful attitude toward God for what He has done, is doing, and is about to do.
