In a dynamic convergence of creatives and entrepreneurs, Marvel Umoh unveiled the Greatness POD Series in Accra, Ghana, at the exclusive event hosted at YOTA, American House, on November 18th, 2023. This event, designed as a refueling platform for creatives and entrepreneurs, offered insights on positioning oneself for enhanced job opportunities and business prospects in the approaching year, 2024.
The Greatness POD Series has previously left its mark with successful events in Abuja, Uyo, and Lagos, Nigeria, since its inception in 2021. The Accra gathering not only continued this legacy but also marked the launch of the Greatness POD community in Ghana.
Attendees at the event were treated to practical advice from accomplished individuals, including Max Uanikhehi, Joel Abaka, Odamea Amoako, Enoch “robot boy” Appiah Jr, Nhyira Butah, Afia Baffour, Ekow Koomson, and the host himself, Marvel Umoh.
Marvel Umoh, in his address, defined Greatness POD as a community of individuals committed to living out their greatness, striving for higher levels of achievement in various aspects of life, and aiding others in their pursuit of the same. The POD emphasizes that true success encompasses proficiency in one’s job or business, family, health, finance, cultural influence, and spiritual life, with an essential focus on supporting others in their journey to success.
Explaining the choice of Ghana for this significant event, Umoh expressed, “Ghana plays a vital role in the pan-African agenda and the New Africa Journey.” He highlighted the nation’s young population as a key factor, stating that Ghana is ideally positioned to be at the forefront of the black race’s reawakening. Umoh emphasized the importance of cultivating a sense of ownership and responsibility to reclaim Africa’s significant standing among the world’s nations. The event thus served not only as a launchpad for the Greatness POD Series in Ghana but also as a testament to the country’s pivotal role in shaping the narrative of a resurgent Africa.
