Conqra On Artiste Spotlight

CONQRA

You may not know his name yet, but if you’re an Amerado fan, you definitely know his powerful rap voice. Born and raised in Ajumako in the Central Region of Ghana, the voice of the young rapper recalls the lustrous elegance of the American rapper Twista, while his rap music is full of fusion of Fanti and a bit of Pidgin language which really has the spell to motivate, inspire and illuminate one’s soul. No wonder he cites his personal experience and others in his rap music and always turns to appraise Sakordie as his influence.

Conqra is a rapper, songwriter, and composer. For Conqra exposure to music and performing from an early age has certainly paid off. Growing up in Central Region (Ajumanko), Conqra began making music of his own at the age of twenty.

As a child of the late 80s, musicians like T.I., Twista, Busta Rhymes, Reggie Rock Stone, Lord Kenya, Sakordie, and many more played a big role in the sound of Conqra today – a kind of new-age hip-life fuse with hip-pop backed by heavy synth and drum beats that make it hard to not want to break out in dance. After a release of his previous single “Panda Cover” in 2016. Having kept busy with refixing tracks for several acts such as Sakordie and others.
