Godwin Prince was also known as Ese Elevate is a DJ, songwriter, lead vocalist, and music composer. He falls in the afrobeat genre. His fusion is absolutely maverick blending native language with the accent of francophone and pidgin music. His songs are doing well in the international market.
EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Godwin Prince also known as Ese Elevate hails from Urome in Edo State in the Federal Republic of Nigeria and he is born to Mr Friday Esene and Madam Roselyn Moses. He attended his basic school Kubwa Primary School in Abuja the capital city of Nigeria.
MUSIC CAREER
He discovered his talent at an early age. He uses to sing along and mime both traditional songs and exotic songs like the Nelly, DMX, 50cent, 2Pac, etc.
His love for world music and afrobeat grew very extensively. Always glued to Fella Kuti traditional Juju songs also known as afrobeat. He was inspired by Fella Kuti to do music. In recent times he is following the footsteps of Burna Boy because he claims the African giant got it all to be an idol.
He does everything like Burna boy in terms of fashion and vocals. He is determined to pay every price for the Grammy.
