EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Richard Osafo Adjei popularly known as Kayafa, hails from Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana in a small town name Bosomtwe- Kontonase. He was born and bred by the Late Mr. Emmanuel Kwame Safo and Madam Janet Safoah. Kayafa had his basic school at Taifa community school Junior Secondary School in Accra-Taifa. Kayafa is currently married to Mrs. Ruth Adjei, of which they are blessed with happily with two children.
MUSIC CAREER
At age five crowd gather around him to listen to his ministration. He usually stands at a table to minister gospel songs to the crowd years back in Kumasi. He grew up with the inspiration of Daddy Lumba.
One thing which can’t be taken from him is musical instruments. He plays the organ, guitar, konka, and dash drums. He loves to play them whiles he sings as well with any of the instruments at his disposal. I started professional music following the steps of Brother Sammy, he imitates Brother Sammy as his idol.
He is currently having an EP entitled Agye Nyame and he currently promoting the Ep whiles working on an album in the studios.
He is not under any record label but he is being assisted by Àpostle Agyenim Boateng of Kasapa 102.5 and also the general overseer of Peniel praise ministry.
