Killi Bwoy, whose real name is Ransford Kwame Asare, is a dynamic and passionate musician who creates magic through his rap music, hip-hop, and afro-pop. He is known as Killi Bwoy because he approaches his instrumentals and music “scientifically, mathematically, spiritually, and physically,” which is undeniable. His style of music is refreshing and invigorating.
EARLY STAGES
In his early years, Killi Bwoy attended Senior High School, which served as a stepping stone into the music industry. He developed a passion for performing at entertainment shows in school, and his taste in music inspired him to venture into creating his own music. He drew inspiration from artists such as J.Cole, Lil Wayne, E.L, Nas, and Kendrick Lamar, which propelled him further into the music world even after completing SHS. In 2015, he performed his first song.
Killi Bwoy’s interest in music was inspired by his childhood experiences of listening to songs on the radio with his friends and learning the lyrics of his favorite rap songs. This sparked his interest in rap music and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Killi Bwoy’s educational background includes attending Bethel Childhood School in Dansoman for nursery and kindergarten, Faith Mission School in Mataheko for primary one and two, and Datus Complex School in Bubiashie for primary three to JHS three. He completed his basic education at Datus Complex School and later attended Seven Great Princes Academy Senior High School, where he studied Business and completed his Senior High education. In 2014, he was admitted to study Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance at the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA), where he completed his course in 2018. The born and bred musical talent with an innate passion for creating music that resonates with his fans. His friends and classmates knew him for his musical prowess, but he’s now taking his talents to the next level.
CREATIVE PROCESS
When it comes to his creative process, Killi Bwoy keeps it discreet. However, he shares that being in the right mood plays a vital role in his songwriting process. As he records more songs, his style and techniques evolve and improve over time, making each new release better than the last.
